Help Create the Next First Opportunity.

Every young person deserves a safe place to be heard, express themselves and imagine what comes next.

Your support helps Finding Your Heart bring culturally relevant mental health education, mentorship, storytelling and creative programming to more youth across Toronto.

There Is More Than One Way to Make an Impact.

Whether you represent a corporation, community organization, funding body or simply believe in the work, you can help us create spaces where young people feel seen, supported and empowered.

Every partnership helps turn creativity into connection—and connection into opportunity.

    • youth meals and transportation

    • participant stipends

    • documentation and storytelling

    • program coordination

  • Bring FYH to Your Community

Create a Program With the Youth You Serve.

Finding Your Heart collaborates with schools, youth agencies, shelters, community centres and local organizations to deliver programming within trusted community environments.

We do not arrive with a rigid, one-size-fits-all solution.

    We begin by listening.

Our team works with community leaders to understand the participants, local context and intended outcomes before shaping the program experience.

    Ideal Community Partners

    • schools and school boards

    • youth-serving organizations

    • community centres

    • shelters and transitional housing programs

    • cultural organizations

    • justice and reintegration programs

  • Donate and Support

    Every Contribution Helps Create Access.

Financial and in-kind contributions help us reach more youth, purchase program materials and continue building safe spaces for creative expression.

You can support Finding Your Heart through:

    • one-time contributions

    • recurring support

    • donated shoes

    • art and workshop materials

    • technology and production equipment

    • food and transportation support

    • venue access

    • professional services

No contribution is too small to become part of a young person’s story.

Your Support Goes Directly Into the Work.

Funding allows Finding Your Heart to deliver complete, accessible and meaningful program experiences, from the first conversation to the final creative artifact.

Shoes and Creative Materials

Participants receive the tools and materials required to explore their ideas without financial barriers.

Mental Health Facilitation

Support helps provide structured, trauma-informed conversations around identity, emotions, resilience and self-awareness.

Storytelling and Journey Mapping

Youth are given space to explore their lived experiences, recognize their growth and shape their stories in healthy and empowering ways.

Youth Leadership and Stipends

Funding creates opportunities for youth to grow beyond participation and contribute as mentors, facilitators, creatives and community leaders.

Community Expansion

Additional support enables FYH to build relationships and deliver programming in more Toronto communities.

Documentary Storytelling

Media production helps preserve youth and community stories, document impact and amplify perspectives that are too often overlooked.

The existing FYH model combines mental health education, storytelling and hands-on artistic expression, culminating in participants creating personalized artifacts that reflect their identity and experience.

Community-Led. Culturally Relevant. Built on Trust.

Finding Your Heart does not enter communities independently and assume what young people need. We build relationships with trusted community organizations, leaders and facilitators before delivering programming. This warm-welcome model allows each experience to respond to the culture, needs and lived realities of the youth involved. The result is programming that feels less like an outside intervention and more like an authentic extension of the community.

Partnership Benefits

Meaningful Local Impact

Support programming that directly engages young people within Toronto communities.

Authentic Youth Engagement

Connect with youth through approaches built around culture, creativity and lived experience.

Visible Community Investment

Demonstrate a serious commitment to mental health, youth development and access to opportunity.

Compelling Storytelling

Where appropriate and consented to, partners may receive photography, video documentation or impact stories demonstrating the work made possible.

Relationship-First Collaboration

Work with a team that values communication, flexibility, community knowledge and long-term trust.

We discuss the young people you serve, the desired outcomes and the most appropriate way to collaborate.

  • 03 — Build

Our team develops a partnership or program approach aligned with the community and available resources.

  • 04 — Deliver

We coordinate the experience, deliver the programming and document the resulting impact where appropriate.

You Do Not Need to Be an Organization to Help.

Individuals can play an important role in the growth of Finding Your Heart.

You can contribute directly, donate materials, share our work or introduce us to organizations and community leaders who believe in creating better opportunities for youth.

Sometimes the most valuable contribution is opening the right door.

Let’s Build Something Meaningful Together.

Tell us how you would like to get involved. Our team will review your inquiry and follow up to explore the opportunity.

A Second Chance Can Begin With One First Opportunity.

Help us bring healing, creativity, mentorship, and meaningful opportunity to more young people.
